What we do
Los Amigos is a family ranch in South Texas between San Antonio and the Mexican border. The property features numerous freshwater lakes contrasting with an arid landscape of sandy soil, mesquite and live oak trees and cactus. The ranch also functions as a fishing lodge that entertains families and groups of close friends and clients with fishing for trophy largemouth bass. "Los Amigos" is Spanish for "the friends."

We like these fonts, colors and style
There are two main colors to incorporate, as they are used consistently on the ranch. One is a teal color that is Sherwin Williams paint color Lagoon SW6480, the other is a beige called Nantucket Dune SW7527. I have attempted to upload .png files with these colors. They can also be found on the Sherwin Williams website.

- We have decided to eliminate the "Yancey, Texas" slogan from the logo.
- The ranch is carefully managed, modern facilities, etc., so while a little western influence is fine we prefer sophisticated over campy or rustic, and we like clean, not too busy.
- We don't want to go overboard on the Mexico/border theme. A little is OK (font selection, etc) but probably not sombreros or "Arizona" cactus.
- We'd like to see some more contemporary designs that incorporate the ranch colors. Use of other colors in addition to these two colors is OK as well.
- We like the idea of a largemouth bass OR a stylized fish design incorporated into the logo. However this is not a requirement and we're not certain that it's an element that will make the final logo until we see more ideas.
