What we do
Filmmaking and telling real love stories are two of the most rewarding things we do. It's an immense amount of work - countless hours go into each wedding film we make. And by the end, we know our couples inside and out. It's pretty crazy actually; the people that hire us bring us into their world and into their relationships for one of the most personal and emotional days of their lives. And they trust us with telling their story and preserving those memories forever. No pressure, right?

Films don't survive without great stories. And for all the advancements we've made in communication technology - email, text messaging, video chat, etc - there is just no substitute for a handwritten love note. Our epiphany came when we realized that love notes are not just tiny romantic treasures; they are the perfect script for your very own love story.

Our format is simple: we challenge each of our brides- and grooms-to-be to write the best love note to their fiancee that their heart can muster. When they are finished, we record each of them reading it, and those recordings become part of the narration of their wedding film. On the morning of the wedding, we give to each the love note from the other.

We are no strangers to this craft. As we head into our third season of wedding video production, we would like to build a new brand with a new logo that matches the quality and style of our services. The logo we choose will ultimately become the foundation of a new website dedicated to wedding cinema.

The target audience
This logo will be seen by many soon-to-be newly weds looking for a wedding film, mostly brides (usually age 21-35) and their mothers.

We like these fonts, colors and style
We're looking for a logo that conveys a simple message. We're taking a timeless nostalgic tradition and making it modern by handcrafting wedding films out of handwritten love notes.

Some colors to consider are: 493328, dabd9d, faf5e1, d91928, afba98, and 7ab099 but we are open to new colors and ideas too!

Our initial idea revolved around a simple "square folded" lined paper love note... you know, the kind where you used to received back in middle school. We're attracted to the simplicity of it. 50 years from now, we would love to hear one of our couples say "They don't make 'em like that anymore."

DOs
1. Be creative
2. Must provide all original project files and elements in vector format. Illustrator/Photoshop files preferred.
3. Feel free to be creative with vintage/nostalgic AND modern elements
4. We would prefer warm "earthy" colors - tans, browns, reds
4. Please experiment with textures

DONTs
1. No folded hearts or cheesy Valentine's-Day-Card-like imagery.
2. No clip art look-a-likes
3. No cameras, apertures, clapboards, film rolls, film reels, or directors chairs

Thanks!
