We also would like a mnemonic as part of the design that can used as a stand-alone to communicate the core idea. The logo should have a visual element which is not dependent on the brand name.
Red connotes power and could be a good colour for us.
Logo shouldn't be too colourful so if a B&W photocopy is taken, then the message is not diluted.
