What we do
Bicycling In Greensboro (BIG) is a volunteer-run, grassroots advocacy organization, focused on improving conditions for, and awareness of, bicycling throughout the greater Greensboro area. BIG carries out its mission through Advocacy, Alliances, Education, Events, and Service, with the ultimate goals of safe and convenient bicycling for transportation, recreation, health, environmental quality, and energy independence.

The target audience
Cyclists of all ages, including families.
We have an annual 4th of July bicycle ride, locally referred to as "The Apple Pie Ride." We are looking to create a logo around this event to help brand and market it throughout the area.
We like these fonts, colors and style
We are looking for an apple pie logo, or a slice of apple pie, or somehow to incorporate an apple pie into an image of a bicycle (maybe as a wheel??). We need a logo that will look good enlarged on posters as well as scaled down small. We would like to use a "slice of pie" or "wedge" as our directional arrow markings along the roadway to indicate turns.

-8 mile family friendly

-40-45 miles
-62 mile (100 km)
-100-102 miles
At the end of the ride, lunch and the much anticipated APPLE PIES are served.
Please also try integrating a bicycle or bicycle wheel with a slice of pie into the icon. It does not necessarily have to include the BIG logo if that makes it too complex.
