What we do
CollabLab: The Collaborative Technology Laboratory. We are a group of researchers that design social computing and collaborative technologies. Our current research programs span a number of areas including understanding how various forms of visual information influence human social interactions, dynamic visualizations of interaction patterns in online communities, and technologies that bring groups of people together online. The keys to our work are that it involves groups of people communicating with or through technology.

The target audience
The audience is wide, but focuses on other university researchers, corporate research centers, and potential government and private funding agencies. This is for a professional audience, but should have elements of creativity. It is also an international audience.
We like these fonts, colors and style
Designs that work well as letterhead, on websites and as logos on physical artifacts (e.g., mugs). Tend to prefer clean designs in 2D or light use of 3D. Open to color schemes but prefer something w/ a primary palette of 2-3 colors at most.
