The target audience
Blue and White collar 21-60. Foodies and beernatics.
We like these fonts, colors and style
Celtic and Old English fonts (think tattoo styles). San Diego references such as palm trees, sunsets, skylines (google images: "san diego skyline" to see what downtown san diego looks like). I highly recommend you check out our "logo inspirado" album on facebook to see fonts and images that we like. Also see the logo that we already own, but please do not try and replicate we want to see some serious creativity - not just recreate what we already have.
Take the time to get to know us. We are a tight family with great traditions especially when it comes to holidays and food. Feel free to ask us about the namesake of the restaurant as well. I feel like the more you know about what we are trying to do the better you will be able to communicate our identity.
We see this as an opportunity to meet a truly great graphic artist, not just a one day logo request. We aren't offering a large amount of cash up front because we simply don't have deep pockets, but we do expect remarkable talent and a timeless logo. Hopefully this is the beginning of a relationship with "our" artist and not just a one off deal.

Thank you all for the hard work so far. I have eliminated quite a few of the logos. I believe I have left at least one from each designer. If I eliminated your logo it is most likely because we have several revisions and were are narrowing it down to the one we like the most. Feel free send us a message if you have any questions so far.
We would also like to encourage creative freedom with this. We have a lot of similar designs and would like to see something that goes away from that. That means you do not have to use the information we gave. The only aspect we absolutely have to have is the name. Thank you.
