What we do
Howdy. The Festival of the Bluegrass is a family run bluegrass music festival that takes place annually in the bluegrass region of central Kentucky. Next year we will be celebrating our 40th anniversary.
The annual event attracts over 10000+ over the course of the weekend and continues to draw the biggest acts in the bluegrass genre.
It is our goal to respect the tradition of our Appalachian heritage while introducing the music to a younger generation.
Part of what makes the FOTB unique are the ‘villages’ that spring up in the campground every year. This is as important (if not more so) than the music on stage. Every night after the stage goes dark, you can continue to hear music being played around campfires until dawn arrives.

The target audience
Demographic data for our audience follows a nice bell curve with the largest segment being between the ages of 25-49.
50% of attendees are from outside the state of Kentucky, with 38 separate states represented and five countries.
Around 65% of all attendees stay all four days and camp onsite during the festival, with an equal split between RV camping and primitive (tent) camping.
We like these fonts, colors and style
We have been using a variation of the same logo since 1996 (I will upload examples). Incorporating some use of the old logo is not necessary and I am very open to the idea of starting fresh.
The logo will primarily be used in print and web materials, but it will also be utilized as part of the backdrop to the stage, billboards and posters.
Our design will be used on
(Web) (Print Media) (Billboards & Signs) (Mugs & Tshirts)
