Name On Logo: Celebrate Excellence
Our Slogan
Awards and Coins
What we do
We design and manufacture awards, trophies and plaques
We also design custom challenge coins and medals (very big in the military)
We have a line of motivational products

Our target audience is not listed in the choices below -- we target the military and corporate customers
Industry: Miscellaneous

Things to communicate through the design
1. we are the top supplier of quality coins and awards
2. we are an international company
3. the standard of excellence in recognition products

The target audience
military: Air Force and Army
corporate customers who purchase awards or plan meetings; HR people who generally are responsible for the annual awards programs.
Our customers are 25-50 years old, middle-management types; 70% are active duty military
We have been in business since 1993 and are well-known as "Successories"; but we are changing our name to "Celebrate Excellence".
We are known for top quality products and service and the "go to company" when you need to recognize or motivate your team.

We like these fonts, colors and style
1) a circular pattern of the letters "C" and "E" in brush strokes with the words "Celebrate Excellence" included. Like the colors red and black.

2) a circle shaped logo with "Celebrate Excellence" in some kind of script (Edwardian or like rage italic) -- with "Awards and Coins" included

3) Shield-shaped logo -- shield would represent both the military squadron emblems as well as a plaque, which is part of our trophy and awards line.

4) since we are in San Antonio -- we could also use the top outline of the Alamo and put the circular logo at the top of the Alamo

I like brush strokes -- if we use "CE" as the logo and the words "Celebrate Excellence" on a banner wrapped at the bottom is another idea.

I am attaching a simple logo we did -- circular logo in Edwardian script with the letters CE. It's just too plain. I also attached a shield-shaped logo -- typical for military emblems. I thought we might use the shield shape with the letters "CE" in the middle; or the words "Celebrate Excellence" in the middle; then put what we do on the banner -- "awards and coins".

Our design will be used on
(Web)  (Print Media)  (Mugs & Tshirts)

Additional Info Added Jul 17, 2012
07/17/2012 - we are interested in the contemporary combination of the letters "C" and "E" above "CELEBRATE EXCELLENCE". We want that combination to be our emblem -- recognizable mark. We are drawn towards creative C and E -- some designs have what looks like a circle in the middle (the C turning into an E by using a circle or dot). That represents to us the coin aspect of our business -- so we like those. Also, we want a more traditional font on "CELEBRATE EXCELLENCE" -- we even like a couple of entries that emphasize "EXCELLENCE" by making it bolder or slightly larger font than "CELEBRATE".
