San Michel Supermercados Logo Design Contest
Name On Logo: San Michel Supermercados
Our Slogan
Desde 1978
What we do
We are a family driven retail chain (the third generation is already being prepared), we have 4 large supermarkets (including one superstore), and we are solid, standing 34 years in our community (hence ''Desde 1978'', wich means ''Since 1978''). We also own some drugstores with the same name (in our country we can´t seel farmaceutical and food on the same retail area), a farm (from where comes our prime meat products). We´re looking for a fresh new look that upgrades our business and makes it more expandable or simply pays tribute to our old logo. Perhaps the best of both world is what we expect. We uploaded the design we´ve been using for the last 18 years.
Industry: Retail

Things to communicate through the design
1. Customer oriented
2. Quality and Solidity
3. Priced right

The target audience
Age from 0-80+, all genders (although in our country the female component in deciding is higher). All our stores are in high density areas. We are considered the premium place to shop in our area (from middle class to high income shoppers). We´d like for the design to indicate our goal of exceding the customers expectations, also our quality and solidity (since we´re a family operated business, we tend to gloat on how we achieve a better quality by doing it for our customers the same way we´d do for our family). We know these values are highly subjective and that we can´t get too ''fancy'', or else our customers would think we are ''expensive''.

We like these fonts, colors and style
