What we do
We sell food in bulk. People come into our stores and scoop nuts, candy, flour, grains, dessert decorations, coffee, tea, spices, and herbs, etc. into a bag. The food is then weighed and they pay by the pound.

Things to communicate through the design
1. The food is fresh.
2. Buying bulk is good for the environment. (no packaging to fill landfills)
3. Buying bulk is smart. Get exactly the amount you need, at a cheaper price than packaged goods (because there is no packaging or marketing.)
The target audience
Our stores are a destination for people who are looking for a specific ingredient for their recipes. Some of our customers buy nuts or candies that they snack on. Our customers are mostly adults who are upper middle class. They enjoy life and the finer things yet care about what they eat and the environment. Many of them cook and bake.
We like these fonts, colors and style
I believe it is important to use natural and organic colors. Buying bulk has become an environmentally good thing to do so I think the colors should reflect that. Also, colors that reflect "freshness".
I like the use of lower case lettering.

I would like to empasize the words BULK FRESH. Our name is BULK FRESH, the place is a pantry. Most of the designs are emphasizing BULK, but then making the word fresh and adjective on pantry.
