What we do
Cool Gizmo Toys is a blog that puts together lists for geeks on topics that they enjoy. We put emphasis on humor, which is a big part of the site. Some potential list topics are Star Wars, video games, oddities, pokemon, futuristic design, technology, superheroes, mustaches, or anything else that is considered "geeky." Things to communicate through the design

The target audience
Our target audience is the "geek" demographic - caucasian males anywhere from late teens to mid thirties with some college education and a median income of around $60,000 (the younger demographic brings down the average) they are interested in the geeky kinds of topics that I listed in our company's objective. They are very internet savvy.
We like these fonts, colors and style
I would like the primary color to be orange, and then you could complement that with a blue, a black, or both. (You can see the design that we have right now on

I would prefer blocky, high tech looking font to cursive or less formal font - geeks usually identify with more computer-y futuristic fonts (or perhaps you could go with a retro gaming font of some kind)
You could also try to incorporate some kind of well-known geekdom as long as nothing is worthy of some company going copyright-happy
Going forward, all of our posts will be lists of things, so you could somehow incorporate this into the design if you wish
