The target audience
Our audience is mostly medium to high income homeowners with decks and fences and some commercial accounts.
We like these fonts, colors and style
Currently we’re called American Pressure Wash and Seal. We’re changing the name of the company to Deck Protectors to better target our niche market. We’d like to focus more on marketing the sealing/protecting of the decks and fences to promote extending the life of the decks and fences rather than the pressure washing. You can see our current logo at
[Login to view URL] but we’re open to new, fresh designs. We’d prefer a white background that will allow us to use the logos on our workers’ shirts, trucks, business cards, etc. If it’s possible to get the file without a background that would be great. That will help us use it on different colored shirts. We’re currently using these html colors on our business cards and other literature and would like to keep something similar but it doesn’t have to be exact: Blue: 1A2D5A and Green: 61A030.
We want our logo to be first and foremost recognizable, bold/strong, clean and crisp, modern without being “futuristic”.

After reviewing some of the entries, I seem to be leaning toward something that conveys protection in the logo more than different types of script. Also something representing a deck or wood. Keep the good ideas coming.

As you can see from my rankings, I do like the different shield ideas but I would also like to see some other ideas of things that convey protection.
