What we do
WE NEED A WINE LABEL - NOT A LOGO. WE NEED TO INCORPORATE THE EXISTING FOGHAT LOGO IN THE LABEL. LABEL SIZE IS APPROX 3.5 wide BY 4" high

In 2006, founding member Roger Earl and his wife Linda joined forces with notable Central Coast California Winemaker, Steve Rasmussen to start producing good wines under the Foghat Cellars label. Steve is a Foghat fan, and had gone to a Foghat show in Paso Robles, CA and thought that the name FOGHAT lent itself to a wine brand (FOG coming in over the grape vines...) We have produced three offerings thus far...a 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon, a 2007 Chardonnay and a 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon. We are looking for a new label for our wine brand FOGHAT CELLARS. We would like it to work with both red or white wines with just a change of color. We need to incorporate the FOGHAT LOGO in the design.

2. Attractive label on a bar in a restaurant to make people want to try it.
3. Recognizable Foghat logo - Music and Wine and enjoyment
The target audience
Wine enthusiasts, casual wine drinkers, rock n' roll fans
We like these fonts, colors and style
We need a wine label that will be used for all of our wines. Both Reds and Whites. The slogan is on the back of the bottle and does not need to be utilized on the front label, although if someone finds a way to use it well, we would consider it.
Label needs to include name of varietal, location and year, (see images) ie:

We are looking for a simple, elegant type of wine label for the Foghat Cellars brand as indicated in our rankings. As we stated previoulsy we need to have the label work both for the white and red varietals. The Foghat Logo is enough indication that it has something to do with music, and we are not really interested in having musical instruments on the label. Some of the entries are terrific and we look forward to seeing some variations. We are getting very close!
