The target audience
students and faculty in countries along the land and maritime routes of the Silk Road from China. Central Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia, Iran,Gulf States, Turkey to Europe.
We like these fonts, colors and style
should include the red and yellow colours of China; possibly a silk scroll with the name of the college; or map of the Silk Road or bridge across nations; possibly a computer to denote web-based learning.

More important is to symbolically convey the silk road.
Also consider Chinese translation in characters under the English text for 'Silk Road College'
Would like to see one option showing the maritime sea route from China around Singapore through the Gulf and to Europe (hand drawn Eurasia contour map in black, Silk Road sea route from China to Europe in yellow. Logo box background in red. Then a hand drawn Chinese junk (e.g., yellow) on the lower right side of the Eurasia map near Guangzhou or Ningpo area. On the left side (e.g., top) a hand drawn computer (e.g. in yellow). Important in this version for the Malay peninsula down to Singapore is shown.

Some of suggested creative designs in rectangular form. For the new versions, the challenge will be to keep the key symbol (e.g., camel and sand dune) within a small circular format. No need to worry about conveying online features through laptops, satellites or computer mouses for these circular versions.
