What We Do
Burning Bush Technologies (BBT). We are a start-up company that developes very unique "nano-ceramic coatings and composite resin technologies" for industries ranging from firearms to the aerospace industry. Much like the miraculous biblical event when a bush was being conumed by fire BUT not burning up; our coatings have the abilities to withstand up to 1800 degrees, possess non-stick properties equal to TEFLON, and can be designed to either dissipate heat fast (make it leave the surface) or the opposite; and keep most of the heat from transferring through the surface. We want a logo that has a hi-tech, yet simple look of the "burning bush". Colors are not yet determined... so have at it.
Things to Communicate Through Our Design
1. Coatings developers of high performing NANO-CERAMIC coatngs for hi-tech applications, very progressive.
2. High temperature resistance, non-stick, corrosion resistant.
3. Future ads will use the tag line and compare it w. Pics depicting nature shots such as set ICE and non-stick coatings.
We appeal to Manufacturers. Hence, we are looking to appeal to audiences in much the same way as DuPont, Dow, Sherwin Williams does. For example, in the aerospace industry, we are providing coatings that will stop 88% of a 1500 degree heat from transferring through a 1/16" thick stainless steel surface using only a 1/1000th thick coating!
This said, we want the logo to be one that is not too complex. We want people to identify with it. This means probably combining the name and symbolism. Immediate clients we sell to include Stanley Hardware, BOEING and ITW (Illinois Tool Works).
We Like These Designs. (fonts, colors, style)
The art palette is wide open for this contest. We would like to see it kept resonably simple so it can exist within a lot of different backgrounds. If selected, we would also ask/pay the winning designer to come up with various additional promotional pieces such as t-shirts. Another promotional piece will tie into the a website called www.theNanoAdvantage.com which will highlight just what nano-coatings (like ours) are, why they are unique, and how they provide advantages. This logo would also be trademarked.
