The target audience
We are targeting all sectors of the construction industry. We plan to launch the site with marketing assistance from BidClerk.com. This company is a clearinghouse for construction industry jobs. Registered users have full access to the job information, including specifications, and how to submit a bid. The site has several million unique visitors each month and will be the foundation of our marketing efforts. Because of this, we are targeting all aspects of the construction industry.
We like these fonts, colors and style
We would like for the logo design to compliment or go with the acmetools.com website - because we are an affiliate of this company and will use their shopping cart, etc. Their primary colors are red and yellow. We would prefer to use the same colors, if it works out that way. They also use a lot of gray and black in their logo and website.
We would prefer a simple robot design, but one that would tie to the construcition industry, in some way - a hard hat, a power tool in hand, etc. We have also kicked around the idea of incorporating a simple robot in our business name - PowerToolBot.com We thought that one of the "T's" could be replaced with a simple robot-type design. The input and thoughts of designers is welcomed in this area!
