What we do
Nonprofit trade association for businesses operating in US national parks, providing visitors with lodging, food and beverages, transportation, equipment sales and rentals, necessary supplies and souvenirs, including American Indian art and crafts. The members are especially committed to making national park visits treasured memories.

government employees of the National Park Service; US Congressional staffers; environmental community;other travel and tourism organizations.
Adults, mostly fairly sophisticated. Outdoors focused. National (parks in 49 US states). Strong environmental and historic interests.
We like these fonts, colors and style
Current National Park Service logo uses an arrow head -- and NPS is very protective. An early park symbol in the US was a pine cone, specifically a sequoia pine cone. That symbol would be of interest to us. NPS still uses the pine cone a bit, on hats and belts. Also interesting is that the pine cone bears some resemblance to the pineapple, which is a widely used symbol for hospitality services.
In our community, NPHA has enough recognition so that it MAY be an option not to use the full name, especially if we use a slogan like "Special memories at special places" or "Great experiences at great places."
An images which highlihgts on our members' service to park visitors and our efforts to serve them exceptionally and in a manner appropriate for our operations in a national park – “green.” Probably a good core color to use is a forest green.
