What we do
Choir with a long history and association with the City of Wolverhampton. Formerly the civic choir. Funded by the City Council of Wolverhampton, members and patrons.
Perform largely traditional and classical pieces such as Handel's Messiah etc. Wide age range of members from teenagers to members in their nineties. Website at

Tag line is not essential to the logo and can be excluded.
Colours for performances are black and gold (similar to Wolverhampton wanderers football club but a little lighter).
The choir has a young musical director who is experienced beyond his age and also promotes opportunities for youngsters to develop their musical talent, currently have scholar accompanist and conductor, both female and under 18 years of age. Keen to appeal to all age groups.
We have used a treble clef and music staves but this is a little obvious. Perhaps something that takes a feel from from the city crest.
Looking for something smart and we are open to traditional ideas as well as something a little more funky and modern. Website uses similar colours and also includes city logo and the logo of Making Music.

Audience members and choir followers.
Followers range from teens to people in their nineties both male and female
Associated to the city and the Mayor is the patron
a lot of religious music although also performing traditional classics for Queen Elizabeth's jubilee

Needs to convey the serious nature of what the choir does but also that it is fun and interesting as well as a challenge
