Things to communicate through the design
1. The main name is “Wentworth” and we provide Gates and Doors
2. We are a high-quality business, the look should be professional, modern and clean – I think it should be fairly chunky as opposed to delicate as this helps communicate a solid feel.
3. Maybe the logo could include some kind of “entrance type element”, not necessarily though - we are very open to all ideas, but if it does contain a “entrance type element” then it should not be specifically a door or a gate – just an opening of
The target audience
Commercial and high end domestic end user. The Name “Wentworth” is recognised in the area that we operate.
We wish to avoid abbreviations.
Very happy to look at Logos which make very good use of the “W” similar to Wentworth Golf Club:

We like these fonts, colors and style
We want to keep this open for all ideas, but it should have a strong, modern and clean feel to it.
Also the logo needs to make a strong impact on our Black Vans so needs to work really well and bright on black, but also well on a white background as well.
Colour:
We want to leave this open, but it's very important that it really stands out well on black or white backgrounds.
