What we do
The Zürcher Yacht Club is a sailing club at the lake of Zurich. The club is near downtown Zurich and was established in 1902. Nautical tradition has high value, but we also have a lot of modern sailors and youth sailing is an important division. The club counts approx. 450 members.

The target audience
The target audience are our members: from the youth sailors (10 years) to the senior sailor (80 years +).
At the same time, we would like to be recognized by our sponsors and the public as one of the leading sailing clubs in Switzerland. We set sailing trends and are open for new developments in sailing.
We like these fonts, colors and style
We are looking for an emblem, that includes our existing flag (see attachment) that we can use on our new clothing line. The emblem will be either printed or embroidered, depending on the cloth. We also might produce stickers for boats as well. We imagine that the year 1902 might be included in the emblem, but it's not a must. The full name Zürcher Yacht Club ist preferred, rather than the shortcut ZYC. The current font used in letterhead ist Garamond, but we envision something more modern, maybe even a mix of modern an classic fonts.
