What we do
I'm starting a website where i'll share my opinions on data, charts, dashboards and Key Performance Indicators (KPI). The name askdatachef.com is because i see the site like a good place to share my recipes to "cook" data. And why not asking a chef to get the best recipes !

Anything you can think about but please NO pie chart, i beg you, ;-) (pie chart are not a good way to view data).

Here are some hints on how i pick some logos more than others. When i see an entry, i ask myself those questions :
- does the logo itself or a part of it could be used as an icon or avatar, like a twitter avatar, recognizable at almost any reasonable size) ?
- does the logo will "survive" a photocopy or a basic black and white render ?
- is it truely original ? (sometimes some choices of font and color reminds me an existing brand, i try to avoid this.)
and finally i'll share this well known quote from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry : "Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away."
