The website is being redesigned and the logo is for the new website.
Muzikantenbank is a dutch word that roughly translates to "Musician's database" in english. It actually consists of two seperate words:
Muzikanten = Musician's
Bank = Database or Resource (more or less)
Industry: Sports & Recreation
Things to communicate through the design
1. socially connecting musicians
2. strong branding and style
3. a hint of playfulness
The target audience
Audience consists almost exclusively of musicians.
Professional and amateur musicians of all ages that are looking for a band or some other form of collaboration. Music teachers, performers, hobbyists.
We like these fonts, colors and style
Muzikantenbank consists of the words "muzikanten" and "bank" (see description above). This can be emphasized in spacing/coloring/capitalization, but not per se.
The logo should not split up the URL onto multiple lines. The website adress should always be immediately clear (muzikantenbank.net).
Logo will be used in website header. Try to use a combination of lightblue, orange and black/shades of grey as the leading colors and use a light background
Logo font must be sans-serif, the slogan font doesn't have to be
The slogan "It's every musician's dream!" is meant to be slightly playful.
Should have a 'fifth element' - a special characteristics recognisable in time without the company name and slogan. Preferrably an image of a performing musician but we are open to creative input!!

I would love to see a design featuring a cartoon or abstract shapes of a musician playing an instrument!
