The target audience
1 - General Public for domestic solar installations & energy audits.
2 - Operating Businesses (including large industry) looking to save money on energy costs through energy management systems, audits, alternative energy products.
We like these fonts, colors and style
We are very open to suggestions.
We don't particularly want to be seen as advocates on climate change, global warming, etc. We are not scientists or politicians. However, our business is strongly related to these issues so sustainably aware customers need to feel an essence of environmental responsibility through our business. Our primary goal is to save people money through proven methods.
You will notice that the business name has no CAPS. Please try with Caps also. For example - 'Energy Base'. Also try with and without the slogan and also play with the Caps on the slogan. i.e 'The Base for Smart Energy'. We are very open to suggestion here.
Blues & Green would be the obvious choice for colour, but I am open to suggestion. Perhaps going against the traditional blue and greens for this industry might work better??
My partner initially envisaged two sloping/leaning squares either side of the name, but this also isn't critical. I think that a distinguishable font is important. So something that is non-standard with Microsoft (obviously I would need to know what the font is though so I can use it for letters, etc).
A simple and unique symbol, shape, pattern, image, etc, that defines the business is also required in the logo.

Hi people - good work so far, here is some direction:
1 - Can we eliminate showing a wind turbine in the logo, but elements of wind are still ok.
2 - Still looking for a distinct symbol to represent our business.
3 - NO MORE Blue and Green please.
4 - Can we please try for Blue & Grey colours
5 - Charcoal colours look good too.
6 - For the icon, please try something that represents a 'base'.
Maybe a circle(s)/square(s) (or some form of), a house, etc.
7 - Green and Charcoal (or black) are now our colours. You can now see from our top rated icons the direction we want to go.
