What we do
Mission - Lead our clients to financial success by actively managing their assets. Through the utilization of economic and technical analysis, historical research and risk controls, we seek to build and manage portfolios which create long term returns while focusing on the preservation of investment capital.

We utilize a broad range of income-oriented investments that together form the foundation of a lower risk investing strategy. We are professional money managers who have our own opinions, insights and perspectives.

While many financial firms position themselves as customized, sophisticated investors recognize they are simply being offered a choice of alternatives. We truly offer more by utilizing option based portfolio management strategies.
Industry: Financial & Insurance

Things to communicate through the design
1. Professionalism/ Integrity/ Trust
2. Trustworthy - Experienced
3. Confidence

The target audience
Our typical client is 28 to 70 years old, with a median age around mid 50's, although we have clients younger and older.

Sophisticated investors

Appeal to the Financial Sector.

We like these fonts, colors and style
Color: Navy blue, Dark Blue - open to other color options as long as they are not too wild. We like deep rich colours and prefer logo on a white background (i.e. for letterhead). Please do not use Red as a color (negative feelings in financial industry), or bubbly type fonts. We would like our logo to be a classic, yet modern design.

Needs to be SIMPLE, yet ELEGANT....

The "MLN" in MLN Investments stands for Mankus, Lavelle, Nesbitt the three founding partners.

No Trees, dollar signs, roads, arrows, graphs, bulls/bears, or rising suns. We are trying to avoid looking like all of the other investment advisors who use the same symbols.

Be creative and show me what you've got.

Logo shouldn't be too big and bulky whereby taking up too much space on the firm's letterhead and envelopes.

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO DISREGARD THE ABOVE GUIDELINES AND COME UP WITH SOMETHING TOTALLY UNIQUE. We wouldn't mind being surprised as well.
