Direct Selling Association Logo Design Contest
Name On Logo: Direct Selling Association
Our Slogan
Annual Awards
What we do
The Direct Selling Association is a trade association representing companies that sell products and services via an independent contractor salesforce through in-home parties and demonstrations.

This logo will represent our Annual Awards program which recognizes companies for program excellence in a variety of categories.
Industry: Non-Profit

Things to communicate through the design
1. prestige
2. status
3. credibility

The target audience
The target audience for this program is made up of executives from direct selling companies. These are high-level CEOs, VPs and managers responsible for technology, marketing and salesforce development programs. We have had an awards program for many years, but the executives don't see the value of the awards so they don't enter. We are overhauling the program this year - adding new awards and modifying others - and looking for a "brand" that will help us convey the importance of being recognized by DSA.

We like these fonts, colors and style
Here is the logo we have used previously: [Login to view URL]

I like the script font because it has an elegant feel, but am not wed to using a script font. The font used just has to be able to portray the right message. I'd like to see something that has "elements" we can pull into the branding. For example, if the logo included stars, we could incorporate stars into our materials. (By the way, I'm not suggesting I want stars in the logo, I'm just using it as an example of elements we can use elsewhere.)

The awards are presented during our annual meeting in June at a gala black tie event.

Thank you for your submissions!

Please, no more stars!
Let me clarify my statement about the stars. Please note the part where I specifically said I was NOT saying I want stars in the logo, I was merely using that as an example of the fact that I would prefer the logo to have some sort of design element that can be used separately from the logo in design. I have seen many logos now with stars and would prefer to see something other than stars in future design submissions.
