Weersverwachting.be is the URL of a weather forecast website.
(not live yet).
We're planning to launch a weather forecast website, comaparable to sites like intellicast.com and weather.com. It will contain the weather forecast for all cities of the world.

We like these fonts, colors and style
We use #A0236E as main color of our website (rgb: 160/35/110).
The logo should look good with #A0236E, but it’s not required that the logo contains this color.

... work on dark and light background
... which allows the name to be well readable
... which are shiny
...have an icon which can be used in different ways e.g. as background, water mark, sys tray icon etc., but can also stand alone or be used in smaller sizes
We can imagine to play with following concepts: thunder / sun / rain / clouds / snow / wind (weather elements). However the logo does not necessarily need to have an image of an weather element in it.

The word "weersverwachting" is Dutch for "weather forecast".
The word "weersverwachting" is one word in the Dutch language. When using 2 colors it's best to use one color for the part "weersverwachting" and one color for the part ".be"
GOOD:
Weersverwachting.be
weersverwachting.be
Wrong:
WeersverWachting.be
A Font based typographic logo is allowed too.
If you want to make a logo without using weather elements: it might be an idea to make an icon of the W and the V.
So you get something like: WV Weersverwachting.be
