What we do
Help patients relieve pain, pre-condition their body for sports and surgery and help relieve symptoms of some diseases. This treatment, called Myotherapy, erases trigger points by appling pressure to the muscles with my fingers and elbows. Trigger points are sensitive spots in the muscle. During the session, we passively stretch the muscle and teach therapeutic corrective exercises to the patient to regain muscle strength, flexibility and range of motion. Conditions that respond to myotherapy include back pain, headaches, neck and shoulder pain, sciatica, whiplash, jaw pain, bursitis, tendonitis, tennis elbow, muscle pulls, strains and sprains. This highly effective and simple technique is a 30 minute to an hour season. I feel I offer a "Bridge to better health".
