Rob Holcroft Logo Design Contest
Name On Logo: Rob Holcroft
Our Slogan
Posture, Health and Wellbeing (can be single words)
What we do
I run practical workshops that impart the knowledge and skills needed to achieve and maintain good posture to help people find relief from stress, anxiety, aches and pains. The workshops include physical flexibility, mobility and strength work combined with psychotherapy to motivate and inspire. In a nutshell, changing what we do, will change how we think and feel.
Industry: Medical & Dental

Things to communicate through the design
1. Enlightening Knowledge
2. Enjoyable Experience
3. Personal Empowerment

The target audience
I celebrate uniqueness and cater for adults of all ages, shapes, sizes and ability. Most people use my services because they are possibly stressed, anxious, depressed, fatigued or in pain. The idea of positive change should be considered. Clients come from all backgrounds and all occupations.

We like these fonts, colors and style
As I work a lot with postures, font could reflect this with length and height perhaps and/or natural curves. I also work with the body, mind and emotions and my work deals with the person as a whole so images could be rounded to reflect this. The idea of fluidity and ease of movement could be implied and I'm based in Worcester, UK on the river Severn so this could be included.

For something completely different, I am quite into superheroes and like the idea that the design, in part or whole, would look good as a superhero logo for a T Shirt. This would also reflect the idea of empowering people to live better lives.

I love colour and although I have some favoured colours I want to see what you think reflects the business.

Our design will be used on
(Web)  (Print Media)  (Billboards & Signs)  (Mugs & Tshirts)

Additional Info Added Dec 2, 2011
I'd be keen to see my name incorporated into the logo.

I like the way a river can also resemble the shape of the human spine.

I'd like to see simple, contemporary and elongated font (or part of the font, such as the stem of the b, h, l and t). I think the o letters in my name might be used too.

As well as delivering posture workshops I also write motivational books. Maybe an image of an apple atop some books would reflect health, writing and balance for posture. Just a thought.

The logo needs to work with a white and black background. Colours I like are turquoise, purple, pistachio, raspberry/magenta, copper.
