Currently, colors of the site are a little dim, you can make logo a little brighter, lively and more attractive. Just take inspiration from the site but no need to follow it exactly.
You have free hand to craft a logo. But I can share one idea which I have in mind, THIS IS NOT A REQUIREMENT. But just an idea you can use. The word 'node' represent some thing like (http://imgur.com/FqBip). We can use this concept, I found this logo is also using the same concept (http://imgur.com/MdF2x)
Also make sure that logo scales nicely in to smaller images, like if we have to use it in 150x150ad box (example:
[Login to view URL]), it should fit in nicely, with out being cramped.

Make logo using the first characters of WEB MASTER NODE, which will be WMN. I am sure there is a beautiful logo representing flow & rhythm in this WMN ...
