What we do
We are a crate free full service doggie daycare, boarding and grooming business. There is nothing more important to us than each dogs experience during their stay. We foster a fun, safe and loving environment. We want to establish trusting relationships with our customers by being flexible, realiable and fair. We want our customers to know their dog is in good hands while they are away.
Industry: Service Industries
Things to communicate through the design
1. Your dog will have fun!
2. We are professional
3. We care about your dog
The target audience
All dog owners within a 20 mile radius of McMurray PA (suburb of Pittsburgh)
We like these fonts, colors and style
I like modern, clean, simple.
- Our name has a play on the word "Pit." Since this business is located in a Pittsburgh suburb, we spell "Pit" with an extra "T" at the end to appeal to the Pitt spirit. The logo needs to show the significane of the extra "T", so that people don't think we just misspelled it.
- Must contain some element that tells audience we are in the dog business, like a dogs face, paw print, or bone.
- Should be fun, but not cheesy. The challenge is making a fun logo that still looks professional.
- Colors may include Pittsburgh steelers colors, however, red is not my favorite color. Gold, maybe light blue or gray. Black and white is good too.
Our design will be used on
(Web) (Print Media) (Billboards & Signs) (Television) (Mugs & Tshirts)

While I want the logo to appeal to the Pittsburgh market, it shouldn't be too Pittsburgh that I can 't take it into another market. I think this can be done using a little gold or black and another color like light blue.
