What we do
OUR STREET is a location-based community storytelling project. It is about bringing once-vibrant areas, that have now become lackluster, back to life through storytelling.

Community members will tell their story about their street in video, photo or audio.

The social history stories will be located on a website, readily available to view and interact with, instilling a sense of pride and belonging in the community. The stories will also be available to view on a walking tour with a smartphone. OUR STREET uses age-old principles of traditional storytelling, with modern expression on multiple digital devices.
Industry: Non-Profit

Things to communicate through the design
1. Histories / Stories / Memories
2. Community / Trust / Pride
3. New Technologies (Old meets New)

The target audience
Baby Boomers are the main audience as the project is based around local/social history. The Baby Boomers have the time, inclination and memories to be involved.

However, younger generations will be encouraged to get involved in the project also. They will be encouraged to view the stories, and comment on them. SO, the logo needs to appeal to both the Baby Boomers and a younger generation.

OUR STREET is a location based community storytelling project, and the actual physical location that the project will run, will be different over time. For example OUR STREET may be working with a community in a city suburban area, or with a community in a small town in a regional area. The logo will need to be generic.

We like these fonts, colors and style
A STREET SIGN / ROAD/ STREET as a visual representation may work as a symbol to form part of the logo, but not essential.

Logo on a white background with the text incorporated into the image, not separate to it.

It needs to be warm and inviting, professional.

Our design will be used on
