What we do
Hearts In Motion Baton, Dance, & Cheer Center is a recreational and competitive program for youth ages 2-18. We teach all types of dance, competitive all star cheerleading, baton twirling, and even karate!

The target audience
Primarily youth and young adults ages 2 - 18. Please keep in mind though, that parents also wear and promote our name brand / logo on car decals, apparrel etc so we don't want the image to look childish. Even thought this is a recreational place, we are also working towards being known as an elite group. Our cheer is not pom pom, rah rah recreational cheerleading. Although all-star cheer may be associated w/ "Bring It On" our clientel tends to be highly educated and more on the conservative side. We run a family oriented gym where morals and values are of the highest standard.
We like these fonts, colors and style
Our center colors are Pink (fushia not baby), Purple, black, white, silver. It is important that Pink is the focus color and purple is in used in our design. It is important that our logo is visible from far away and makes a high-impact statement. The image will be printed on bags, t-shirts, sweatshirts, banners, car decals etc. Parents and athletes will wear our logo on a variety of printed items. We will also highlight our logo on our newly remodeled website. Name brand recognition is important to us. We are looking for something that can be used both as a full name logo (Hearts In Motion) and as an icon or symbol w/out the full name on it. Similar to the logomyway logo. Some ideas to look at are

[Login to view URL] Although we like this logo, it is too complicated to use on some items. It does not show off our name very well, and cannot be used as a symbol itself.
