What we do
This logo is for a company, Braveau Publishing (pronounced like "bravo"), that partners with subject matter experts to create information products (books, training, coaching, seminars, etc) and sell them to the intended audience. These products can be anything from how to make money in real estate to how to improve your bowling game, to how to start a montassori school. We are not a traditional publishing company. We leverage the most cutting edge tools and techniques to get the expert's message out to as many people as possible. We leverage social media, Internet and whatever the newest tools and techniques are to do this job most effectively. The name, Braveau, is a combination of Nouveau (newly arrived or developed) and Bravura (great skill and energy in doing something). Both definitions are from Webster's Dictionary.
Industry: Education
Things to communicate through the design
1. Experts with Information
2. made available to people who want to learn
3. using the most modern techniques
The target audience
The logo will primarily be viewed by the experts that my company partners with (or are considering partnering with). In general, the products created for the public will be done under a separate brand, with only the small print statement of "by braveau publishing" visible on the product.
We like these fonts, colors and style
The logo needs to communicate the message but still be simple. I like to say, "elegent in it's simplicity". It does need to be able to be converted to black and white, although I definitely welcome color in the design. I also need the logo to scale well in size. It could be a small mark on the bottom cover of a book, or in a banner on a website or on a large banner in a seminar hall.
Our design will be used on
(Web) (Print Media) (Television) (Mugs & Tshirts)

Thanks for all your great entires! I do want to clarify that I do not want "BP", "B" or any initials to be primary in the design. The full company name ONLY should be used in the logo. The designs do need SOME color. Finally, I aboslutely love the logos that are playing with the use of creative typography!!!
