The target audience
Target audience is new home buyers that would be considered middle income and above. Tend to deal with young/retired professionals and realtors in El Paso, Texas
Want an eye catching design that makes people think, Insight Mortgage.

We like these fonts, colors and style
Don't want southwest or old west. Would like a sharp, professional logo that makes people think: Insight, Knowledge, Professionalism.

I like blue, silver, black, white.

After looking at different logos, additional colors would be considered: red, orange....

We hope to see many different ideas, as we don't have any one concept that we prefer. Basically, we are open to different ideas and look forward to what everyone comes up with.

The logo will be for our print materials, mostly black and white, and our website. We would show color on our business cards, some flyers, and our website, but the logo would need to show well as b&w.

Insight Mortgage is a residential mortgage company licensed in the state of Texas, but since El Paso is so isolated, 95% of our loans are in El Paso. Expansion to New Mexico is possible in the next 1-2 years, so logo does not have to be Texas related.

Finally, as a preferred lender for builders, most of my clients come to us without knowing our company. This can be difficult for clients, as they may already have a relationship with another banker/mortgage company and we want them to feel safe/secure and confident in our company. Also, with all the industry changes, more compliance/paperwork/qualifying, clients now need more guidance and assurance than ever before.
