The target audience
Target audience for the logo is employees and special alumni of the company. The logo will be used on internal give-aways, ball caps, t-shirts and key rings.
We like these fonts, colors and style
We want to use the red, white, & blue color scheme of the Texas flag and I'm thinking something that incorporates the shape of the state of Texas might be nice, but I don't want to tie anyone's creative hands. The company logo will be used on the alternate side of the item we print this logo on, so no worries. Logo needs to be scalable as it may be used on something as small as a silver keyring or as large as the back of a T-shirt.
