The website is combination of a music video appreciation blog, a party picture website, and an online portfolio of my own DJ and videography works.

Things to communicate through the design
1. passion for music/ party/ dance culture
2. this is the place to learn about how different groups of people make music, party, and dance
3. "very cool", "underground", niche
The target audience
My target audiences are music and party lovers from 18 through the late 30 (at least in their heart :)). I want to appeal to a multi-cultural/racial audience (not just "Americans"), but particularly to the youthful, open-minded folks who identify with or want to learn about multiple music subcultures (not just hip hop, but also electronic/ club music, latin musics, indie). So to throw around words I hate using, I want to appeal to "urban" and "hipster" crowds who are music lovers, clubbers, dancers, artists, and musicians.
We like these fonts, colors and style
In terms concept, I want the logo to emphasize the blending of music, music video, DJing, photo, video production, and party lifestyle. I want it to look "very cool", not so much "fresh"/"chic" (if that makes sense).
Content wise, I want people to view the postings on the site and think to themselves "damn, he really LOVES music". I want the logo to also give that reaction to viewers.
I do not have many suggestions about color and font, but I like greys (from charcoal to light), reddish-terracottas, and chocolate browns, and black. These colors do not have to be in the logo, but I just wanted to put that info out there.
