What we do
We are a recently formed startup that is creating a web and mobile app for motorsport and motor vehicle enthusiasts to manage their parts and their budgets. We’ll help car and motorcycle lovers find the best performance parts at the best prices, and they’ll be able to keep detailed records of all the parts and supplies they use while racing or have installed in their vehicle. We will be welcoming all types of cars and motorcycles, and all forms of racing, from road racing and off-road rally, to people who are just making major modifications to their street vehicles. The product is currently under development so there is no website to show you...here’s a chance to help define the brand before we even launch!
Industry: Automotive
Things to communicate through the design
1. Motorsports
2. Strong community of passionate car and motorcycle enthusiasts and racers
3. Approachable, friendly community, easy to use web & mobile app
The target audience
Age: 19-55. Sex: Predominately male. Location: Anywhere in the US (but eventually international). The product name says a lot about our focus: “Track” - we are focused on the hardcore motorsport enthusiast who is hitting the track themselves, not just watching from the stands; “Topia” - as in utopia, the world of motorsports is a very strong, passionate community, and this site will be the first time enthusiasts will have a central place to share their first hand knowledge, learn from and meet others with similar interests.
We like these fonts, colors and style
We are interested in seeing designs that include some sort of race track element, specifically a road course (left and right turns, not ovals), but are open to all other ideas...we welcome your creativity! Remember that the product is for both cars and motorcycles so there shouldn’t be any design elements that alienate one or the other. Ideally the logo will be clean, bold, project strength, and a clear understanding of the product's motorsport focus. It will be used on everything from the website to business cards to window stickers and race cars, so it should avoid fine details and scale well in size.
Our design will be used on
(Web) (Print Media) (Billboards & Signs) (Mugs & Tshirts)

Graphic Element Suggestions:
- Race track (Google image search "road racing track" for example track shapes)
- Racing flags (checkered flags, etc.)
- Racing helmet
Please:
- Don't use the letter(s) "T" as a primary element in the design. It should be included in the name only.
- Don't use any other words besides "TrackTopia"
- Don't use fine details such as speedometer numbers and tick marks
- Don't use a steering wheel or any part that isn't on both a car and a motorcycle - our audience has both
Please:
- Do make sure "TrackTopia" is easy to read, keep the font simple
- Do make sure the logo will scale well in size. We'll be using it on the side of cars so it needs to look as good big as it does small, such as on a business cards
