Name On Logo: Mariposa In Motion
Our Slogan
Bringing people in Hampton Roads Together
What we do
This company name is to cover my 2 industries. The first is my own franchise of Meeup.com. The name of the meetup group is HR FEN (Hampton Roads Friends, Events and Networking). We post and host local events and have over 1,000 local members. This is great for people who are new in town and want to make friends, also great for business networking. My other industry is photography. I do event photography for the meetup events, church events and community events.

We like these fonts, colors and style
I want a logo with the acronym of the company name. MiM (capital M, small i, capital M). I want the dot on the small i to be a blue butterfly that I am submitting with my entry. A little bit of background info: My name is Vanessa, which means butterfly in Greek. I speak Spanish, and so Mariposa is the Spanish word for butterfly. My company name is Mariposa in Motion because I am constantly on the go to many, many events per week that I organize. Also, I am always photographing the events and converting them into videos - creating motion out of still photos. Hence, Mariposa in Motion. I want something that will reflect the ethereal beauty of a butterfly always on the go.
Our design will be used on

I do NOT want the slogan "Bringing People in Hampton Roads Together" in the logo.
The less words the better.
I would like to see the photo I submitted as part of the logo.
***Ultimately I will end up choosing a design that has all three of these elements: the butterfly, MiM and Mariposa In Motion
I would REALLY love to see some more variety of a logo with the photo of the blue butterfly I submitted. I think that if I saw a design I loved with the 3 elements I described above, I would go with that one.
