Current Citizen (or CurrentCitizen.com) Logo Design Contest
Name On Logo: Current Citizen (or CurrentCitizen.com)
Our Slogan
Limited Editions for Informed Citizens (optional, could change)
What we do
Current Citizen was founded to address the growing desire for high quality casual apparel that comments on current events through the use of satire. By agreeing to produce very limited editions of each design, Current Citizen is able to attract some of the world's leading comedic writers, artists and designers. These contributors participate in a weekly process to design smart, humorous and touching artwear.
Industry: Retail

Things to communicate through the design
1. Smart, satirical customers
2. High-end quality
3. Fashionable

The target audience
Customers who want to wear a fashionable Tshirt with $200 jeans and $300 shoes (high-end casual wear), but want something intellectual, as well. There are tons of low-quality, base humor Tshirts out there, but I don't want to wear something like that to a nice dinner (or around my kids). Ed Hardy might be fashionable, but those shirts don't say anything other than "I spend $100 on a Tshirt". Check out my website and you'll get it. Anyone who watches The Daily Show, Colbert Report or Conan is a great customer for us.

We like these fonts, colors and style
This is going to be a brand that goes on every Tshirt, website, advertisement, etc. It needs to look SHARP, as it will be the face of the company, the reason people want to buy our product.

Our design will be used on
