Name On Logo: Rufus and Delilah

I run a boutique style dog walking and pet sitting business. The current name is Claws N Paws Petsitting (www.clawsnpawspetsitting.com) but I am changing the business name to Rufus and Delilah. We are your friendly neighborhood pet care specialist! Whether you are going on vacation, a business trip, or just spending long hours at the office, Rufus and Delilah (Pet Sitting & Dog Walking) is for you. We specialize in dog walking and in home pet sitting for cats and dogs, including overnight stays while you're away. Our time and attention are focused on your pet and all visits are tailored to yours and your pets needs. A handwritten note is left after each visit with details of your pet and sitters time together. We will keep a watchful eye on your home, bring in the newspapers and mail and water the plants while you're away! And of course we are fully licensed, bonded and insured for your peace of mind.

My target audience/clients are people with pets, mainly dogs and cats, who are looking for the best possible pet care when they are not home whether it is for daily walks when they are at work or walks/visits when they travel. We provide them peace of mind when caring for their pets and their homes.

I want a logo that we can also use for branding beyond dog walking and pet sitting for pet products as well such as upper end leashes, collars, toys, etc. I want a logo that would appeal to the Nordstroms shopper. Something that would make the client want to use our service or buy our product b/c they like the look of our logo if comparing it to other dog walking businesses or pet products with similar looks and prices.

If pets are used in the logo design, I see Rufus as a big dumb dog and Deliah as a feminine dainty dog.
