Name On Logo: Maricopa County OpenBooks
Our Slogan
building trust through transparency
What we do
Maricopa County, Arizona is creating a new website called ‘Maricopa County OpenBooks’. It is part of the accountability and transparency movement from President Obama. We are pledging to provide our taxpayers an accountable and transparent government. The term ‘OpenBooks’ means that our financial database is open to our citizens to search the detail of the County's revenues and expenditures through this site. This new site also provides a central location for citizens to find information about how the County operates, such as budget informantion, monthy financial reports, internal audit reports, etc..
Industry: Non-Profit
Things to communicate through the design
1. Financial Openness
2. Transparency
3. Accountability
The target audience
Specifically the citizens of Maricopa County, Arizona; however anyone else looking to obtain information about the County.
We like these fonts, colors and style
We are looking for a logo to brand our new website. Although we are a governmental entity, we would like the logo to be innovative and eye catching. We would like to play off of the word “OpenBooks” (see attached websites for examples). We are not tied to a specific color, however the logo will be used on a web page header/banner that will also have desert landscape pictures. For example blue skies, red rock mountains, green cactus, etc..
