What we do
We are a restaurant steeped in history that serves excellent homestyle American food. (Ribs, Chicken, Steaks, Burgers) We also have a full service bar.
The Barlow Trail Inn was built in 1926 and once served as a brothel. It was later established as the "Finest eating on the loop to Mt. Hood" It is located in a rustic log cabin built by William Lenz, and named after the toll road to Mt hood "The Barlow Trail".
About 10 years ago the name was changed to The Territory, but this did not set well the local folks. So we changed the name to the Barlow Trail Roadhouse. We are looking for a new logo that will feature the original covered wagon and oxen.
We would like for it to appeal to the men and women who will buy
t-shirts with our logo. Keep it clean and simple, easy to recognize.

Locals, tourists and travelers. We serve a very diverse group of patrons. Something for everyone of all ages, all incomes.
We like these fonts, colors and style
Logo must have a covered wagon, and oxen. Would also like mountains and trees and possibly patriotic stars. Maybe a log cabin? Where ever you creativity takes you. We like Montys, Santa Rita, Cacyus Wheel, Millers, Burgerville, Oak Cafe, Boo Bones, Wapiti.

The covered wagon and oxen are just symbols. Not intended to be a replicate ot the original. Just a template to grow from!! Can't wait to see everbody's designs!
The oxen are optional after seeing #4. However the covered wagon is ESSENTIAL. Thanks for entering our contest! I can't wait to see more entries
We are also listed on National Geographics Cascade geo -tourism website. Out of 18 dining establishments in Welches, only two of us made the guide! We do not have a picture or logo on their site and really want to make it complete.
We are nestled in the foothills of Mt Hoot on E. Hwy 26 on the way to Timberline, Ski Bowl, Mt hood Meadows and Mt Bachelor ski Resorts. thank you for all your efforts, I am exited to see eveyones artistic talents!!

Another idea brought up was for a Branding Iron, using BTR and then the Barlow name around it.

OK down to the wire. Our locals are a picky group, but buy a lot of t-shirts. Customers pointed out, the wagons need to go from right to left, to corespond to the Barlow Trail coming from east to west.
This is really a tough competion. I would be happy with 10-15 of the designs, so we are throwing it out to a vote of customers and friends. Our vote today showed three designs tied for first.
