We are an IT Business offering IT Support Services, IT Consultancy, Software Development Services and IT Product Sourcing & Supply (formerly known as IT Servicelink Ltd - [Login to view URL]).

We also have a mainstream software package called Rio Retail which is a Retail Management System used in the Furniture Sales industry in the UK.

Our focus in on providing business focused IT services (as opposed to technology) and our current marketing strapline is 'creating prosperity through technology'. For us it is not about the technology - it's about the difference we make to our clients businesses by using innovative technology solutions to solve their business problems.

We've decided to rebrand and adopt the 'RIO' tag as our core brand name.

Our primary business name will be Rio Systems, and we have the riosystems.com domain name

We work heavily on establishing trust based relationships with our current and prospective clients.

Small to Medium sized businesses (5 to 500 employees), which are serious about their business, and value professional advice, consultancy, support and development services right across their IT needs.

Approx. 30% of client contacts and relationships will be with business owners, 30% with (non IT) directors (typically Finance or Operations) and the remainder with IT Professionals - either at Manager or Director level.

90% Male 10% Female; typically University educated to primary degree level

All other factors - general random mix - nothing specific

RIO will be our core brand name. The business will trade as RIO SYSTEMS, and we currently have the retail industry software product called RIO RETAIL.

In future we will have addition al sub brands used to identify internal products - such as RIO MANAGER, RIO MONITOR, RIO LINK etc.

The design should have a core graphic - at your design discretion.

Then the word RIO as a seperable element which could be placed at bottom or right of the graphic to suit different layouts for letterhead, vehicle graphics, ads etc.

Finally the word SYSTEMS should be font based allowing us to interchange with other sub brands as required by replacing the characters.

You have completely free choice on colours / design / typefaces etc. etc.

Also - please have no allegience to our current branding - it is 100% irrelevant.

All designers - please note the design brief - what we are looking for is a core graphic element, with a movable RIO element which can be placed bottom or right hand side, and a font based element which will contain the word SYSTEMS. Not sure if this has been clearly communicated in our brief - but the designs seen to date do not reflect this brief - and we do not want to waste your time doing something which will not meet our objectives - thanks, Colm
