What we do
Sanctioned by the non-profit Illinois Chess Association, the Illinois Chess Tour links prominent chess tournaments throughout the state into a yearly series, with prizes to chessplayers for both performance and participation. The Tour promotes play and social interaction between different areas and clubs throughout the state, and includes both adult and youth players.

Chiefly chessplayers, but hoping to appeal to a wide demographic range in age (both youth and adult), income, etc.
We like these fonts, colors and style
Design can include chess pieces and/or the State of Illinois silhouette, but doesn't have to. Should not be too cluttered. ICA colors are green and blue (see
[Login to view URL]), but a one-color design is fine too. Prefer a playful or unconventional design to a conservative one.
