Name On Logo: Northwind

Northwind Installation is a local dealer and installation company for services (ISP's, Satellite TV providers, etc) who provide Internet, television and other communications services to homes and businesses in rural areas.



The company's legal name is Northwind Installation Inc. but we desire a logo that focuses on the word "Northwind" with a secondary element that can optionally be included with an additional descriptor, ie. Installation, Networks, Satellite, or Wireless or could be used to turn the logo into a url ie. NorthwindWireless.ca or NorthwindInstallation.com.

Our target market is almost exclusively "rural" in address, ie. they live on large properties outside of urban areas, where high speed Internet, cable TV, and sometime cellular service are not available. They do not however identify themselves as "country folk" and we need to be very careful to not stereotype our customers as farmers, hillbillies, or country bumpkins.





Our customers are very diverse demographically, and they could be professionals commuting to the city, small business owners, or executives with country vacation homes as easily as farmers, blue collar families, or village dwelling people employed in the service industry.





The one thing our customers have in common is that they do not have access to good quality high-speed Internet delivered via DSL, instead they have in the past relied on dial-up or lower quality Satellite or wireless connections than we are able to offer.

Our current logo can be seen at [Login to view URL] The wind element is optional, the compass is desired but not mandatory. Colours, fonts and style are flexible, but the logo should neither match or clash with the Xplornet logo (www.xplornet.com).
