Hi, I'm Matthew and I started Scales Plus in 2004. We started out as a supplier of Scales, Balances and Weighing Equipment - this is still our core business. We supply Medical Scales, Industrial Scales, Laboratory Balances - we supply a full range of scales both as a wholesaler and as an online store.

We also supply many other products besides Scales - one of the reasons I named my business Scales Plus (it is plus other products).

Other main products we supply are Jewelery Tools for making Jewelry. Testing instruments. Batteries and Chargers.

Average age of customer is 35. We have customers all over Australia and internationally.

Our main customers are other businesses - engineering and construction companies especially. Also hospitals and the medical industry, and Jewelers.

I am not a designer but some of my ideas are:

Maybe a plus ( + ) symbol logo could be used in the Scales Plus business image.

Maybe the plus symbol in 3D. Maybe 2 plus symbols, one large, one small.

Maybe small photos or images of scales balances and calibration weights could be included in the logo.

Maybe just slight changes to our old logo using similar colors. I have included a copy of our old logo for reference. But it maybe better to have a completely new logo, because I think a good new logo could be a big improvement for the business

The slogan tagline [ Scales, Balances, plus so much more.. ] could be used if it looks good. If it does not look good with the logo, it is not necessary.
