Name On Logo: Arsenal Attorneys
Our Slogan
Buy firearms lawfully, bequeath them responsibly.
What we do
We are a law firm serving gun owners to help them comply with gun laws. Further, we help gun owners perform estate planning so their guns will not create legal problems for their loved ones.
Industry: Legal
Things to communicate through the design
1. Protection
2. Responsibility
3. Safety
The target audience
A client interested in our services has likely invested large sums in acquiring a valuable gun collection. Among gun owners, they are highly educated about the rights and restrictions in owning guns. They are very sensitive to the responsibility of handling their guns lawfully and safely. If they die or become incapacitated, they want to ensure their gun collection does not create problems for their loved ones. These clients value freedom, privacy, and security.
We like these fonts, colors and style
Our current website attempts to convey tradition, nostalgia, craftsmanship, history, professionalism, expertise, and freedom; see
[Login to view URL] A logo should similarly reflect an historical style expressing how we protect clients and their gun collections. Lettering should also be historical, such as the font Castellar, but preferably something more interesting.
Here's some brainstorming:
* a shield (symbolizing protection),
* a castle tower (literally an arsenal),
* a castle tower in the shape of the letter 'A' (similar to how this link shows a tower that looks like an 'h':

* the image of the Powder Magazine at Colonial Williamsburg (an historically significant and politically symbolic arsenal located in our own region--Virginia; see image uploaded below and this link:

* line drawings of historic buildings, showing some detail like bricks and mortar.
* Various heraldic symbols seen here:

A logo will be used on a single color letter press business card. It should have that slightly rough look of an historical artifact, distressed with age and a well worn character.
* See the website of legendary English shotgun maker Holland & Holland:

* For the ambitious, try creating a full coat of arms: a shield, supported on one side by a Minuteman, supported on the other side by lady justice holding scales and sword--in keeping with early American history's emphasis on freedom, justice, liberty, law, gun rights (2nd Amendment of the Constitution), etc--it should not resemble Old World monarchy.
