Things to communicate through the design
1. Just by looking at it people should know that it's messaging app (clear message of the nature of the app)
2. Strong product branding, make it stand out
3. Fun and Fresh (but not too cartoonish)
The target audience
Target audience is smart phone users, primarily iPhone users, who have internet connection. Woopm will replace sms with free messaging, you can send message to any of your friends regardless of where they are in the world. No cost.
Our app, unlike others (whatsapp, kik etc) will be free. We will offer the same benefits of what our competitors do. Free push notifications, cross-platform, user friendly UI etc.
We like these fonts, colors and style
Keep it professional, stylish, fresh and fun. But don't go for too cartoonish designs. Once few entries are submitted I will let you guys know on some of the elements i like in each design.
