What we do
For more than 35 years, the Our World-Underwater Scholarship Society has provided firsthand experiences in underwater-related disciplines to young people considering careers in the underwater world. Each year, a scholar is selected from North America, Europe, and Australasia to work with leaders in marine-related fields partaking in endeavors ranging from scientific expeditions, underwater research, field study, laboratory assignments, equipment testing and design, photographic instruction, and/or other specialized assignments. Scholars spend a year traveling extensively to gain exposure and get hands-on experiences in activities that will contribute to a well-rounded education.

Here is the issue: The logo we have now needs to stay mostly the same - but it needs to be BETTER - COOLER - CLEANER - SHARPER - MODERNIZED. It has been around for a long time and needs a revision.

Make it larger - better - cooler - cleaner - and more modern (but the same and the money is yours. Thanks!

Sorry if I didn't make this clear - but the globe portion of the logo has to stay the same - that is, the circle has to have the grid up top with the Great Lakes behind the grid, and the diver underneath. The diver HAS to look exactly like the old diver. The grid has to be the same with the line crossing through at the same point on the great lakes.
The CORE MARK of the logo has to be the same...the colors can change, shading can change - but the image has to be the same. I have uploaded a good version here:

The words can encircle the logo, or be under it - or above it, but the globe part should have the same look. No additions or subtractions....just newer and better looking. Tough one, I know. :)
