Aside from their publications, Baxter Travel Media specializes in providing marketing, social media and technology solutions within the industry as well as produce trade shows, various print and online directories.
Industry: Travel & Hospitality

Things to communicate through the design
1. Experts (Travel, Marketing and Technology)
2. Communicators (Center of the Canadian Travel Industry)
3. Innovators

The target audience
Baxter Travel Media is primarily a B2B organization. As the travel industry media we have a unique position in the center of the Canadian Travel Industry. Our target audience consists of Travel Retailers/Agencies, Travel Suppliers (tour operators, hotels, airlines etc), Touris Boards, Government Bodies.

Our users range from mid-twenty travel agents to 60 something travel corporation professionals. It's an equal split of male and female. Industry professionals are typically educated individuals.

We like these fonts, colors and style
We are looking for a logo that is 80% corporate, 20% new media. Stylized fonts with a basic iconic logo is preferred although we are open to anything that is professional looking and conveys our marketing message as being "Experts, Innovators and Communicators".

As the Baxter name is our brand, it's important that our entire name "Baxter Travel Media" be in the logo.

Colours, fonts and style should convey professionalism. Currently our logo has some "Canadiana" in it. This is not necessary or desired for the logo.

Our design will be used on
(Web)  (Print Media)  (Mugs & Tshirts)

Additional Info Added May 2, 2011
We appreciate all the logo entries so far. There are some creative entries and elements we like. However, we are looking for something a little more corporate and basic. Emphasis on typography with a simple logo. Possibly using a smaller colour pallet ... i.e. 2 colours.
